MEET
DANIELLE
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by, I can't wait to meet you. My name is Danielle and I am a portrait photographer based out of Boulder, Colorado. I specialize in natural light photography, and I love capturing you in your most authentic moments.
I'm a Kansas City native, but I've lived in Boulder for six out of my last ten years. I love spending my free time with my fiancé Evan and our dog Wolfie.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I've loved photography for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was constantly begging my parents to let me buy disposable cameras from Walgreens so that I could take photos of flowers and my friends. I couldn't wait to get the photos developed, to see what I had been able to capture from a split second in time. I took photography classes in high school, both digital and film, and finally purchased my first DSLR camera in 2011.
Since then, I've had the pleasure of taking thousands of photos all across the world. I love nothing more than capturing the "in-between" moments, when people are not posed or thinking about the fact that their photo is being taken, that is when we are our most authentic selves. In my full time work, I am currently a law student at the University of Colorado. I also hold a MSc in Organizational and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Communication from the University of Colorado.
