There are many beautiful locations to shoot at in Colorado, but we are particularly spoiled in Boulder. Nestled right against the Front Range, the views in Boulder are breathtaking.
My absolute favorite location for photoshoots with an epic mountain backdrop is Chautauqua Park. Regardless of the season, the Flatirons provide the perfect natural look for any photo session. In the summer, there are beautiful wildflowers and tall grasses to add depth and dimension to photos. In the winter, snow on the Flatirons can create a beautiful romantic environment.
In addition to the expansive trails leading up the mountains, there is also a beautiful open park across from the Chautauqua Dining Hall with trees and foliage that can provide a different look to your session.

Chautauqua is only a quick 30-45 minute drive from Denver. Take Highway 36 to Boulder, and take the exit to Baseline Road. Turn left heading west towards the mountains. There is plenty of additional street parking in surrounding neighborhoods if the lot right next to the trail head is full.
